Remember Rep. Alan Grayson, the Florida Democrat who declared that the GOP approach to healthcare was “Just Die Quickly.”

Sorry, Alan, that’s the Democrats you’re talking about. Humble Libertarian has uncovered this vid of a 2007 speech by Robert Reich, labor secretary under President Clinton and adviser to President Obama. There Reich spills the beans about how Democrats really want to structure our healthcare system. Here’s what Reich thinks an “honest” democracy ought to tell its citizens:

-Younger people should pay more

-Healthier people should pay more

-Older people should just die- they’re “too expensive”

-There should be “less innovation” in medical technology

-You should not expect to live longer than your parents.

Just in case you thought all that “death panel” stuff was made up by Moose Mama.
