The Baucus health care bill is out of committee, but now the real effort to pass it begins in earnest. Democrats have one huge enemy: public knowledge. The more the public knows about the bill, the less it likes it. Karl Rove makes a key point about the Baucus (and other health care bills) today:

“The problem for Mr. Obama is that the Baucus bill is being sold on the strengths of accounting tricks that make it appear it won’t add to the deficit.”
