OBAMACARE PROBLEMS WON’T STOP WITH SEBELIUS’ RESIGNATION
She May Now Be HTTP 404'ed, But The Ongoing Errors And Harms Are Built In

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Independent Women's Voice Health Policy Director Hadley Heath released the following statement in response to the departure of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius:

“For the past four years, we have analyzed, researched, and discussed the ill-effect that ObamaCare would have on our health care system, our freedoms, and our economy.  We have seen other high-ranking ObamaCare officials step down from their posts, including CMS's COO Michelle Snyder and CIO Tony Trenkle. And if HHS Secretary Katheleen Sebelius’ job was an elected position, the American people would have voted her out long ago.

"Yet, there isn’t much to celebrate about Sebelius’ overdue resignation. Clearly, HHS needs a new direction. But we shouldn’t pinpoint the problem as who is running it but rather the mindset – the hubris of believing that good intentions are enough, and a contempt for the freedoms and choices of the American people, combined with an abysmal understanding of economics, human behavior, and the effects of perverse incentives.

“This administration has indicated Sebelius’ successor is cut every bit as much from this mold indicates there is little hope for any regulatory modesty or respect for Congressional intent or constitutional process  – but we’ll be delighted to be proven wrong.”
