Alexandria, Virginia — Today, Independent Women’s Voice announced that Carly Fiorina has signed the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge.
"Carly Fiorina’s decision to take the Pledge shows voters that, when it comes to health care, she gets it,” said Heather Higgins, President and CEO of Independent Women's Voice.
“Fiorina understands the harm that ObamaCare has already caused and will continue to cause if it's not turned back. She recognizes that ObamaCare hurts seniors and increases costs for families. Moreover, she knows that ObamaCare means bigger government and less freedom, places government bureaucrats between doctors and their patients, and reduces our choice and control in health care decisions."
“We have to repeal ObamaCare because we have to make sure that people have access to quality, affordable healthcare,” said Carly Fiorina. “ObamaCare is too complex — it's longer than a Harry Potter novel and no one knows what's in it. It is crushing the competition that we know would provide more and better options for patients."
“We can't tinker around the edges of this much complexity,” Fiorina added. “We need to repeal ObamaCare and let the free market—not more crony capitalism—improve access and care for all Americans.”
"The Repeal Pledge was designed as a litmus test to help the American public understand which candidates and office holders are serious about repeal, versus those who claim to be but won't actually take action," continued Higgins. "With this commitment, Carly Fiorina passes that test."
The Repeal Pledge is a project of Independent Women's Voice, a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization.
