Flagstaff, AZ — Today, Independent Women’s Voice announced that Wendy Rogers (R-AZ) has signed the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge. Rogers is a candidate for U.S. House in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District
"Wendy Rogers’ decision to take the Pledge shows voters that, when it comes to health care, she gets it,” said Heather Higgins, President and CEO of Independent Women's Voice.
“Wendy understands the harm that ObamaCare has already caused and will continue to cause if it's not turned back. She recognizes that ObamaCare hurts seniors and increases costs for families. Moreover, she knows that ObamaCare means bigger government and less freedom, places government bureaucrats between doctors and their patients, and reduces our choice and control in health care decisions."
"As a small business owner and licensed clinical psychiatric social worker in mental health, I can confidently state that Obamacare has cost millions of jobs, reduced the quality of healthcare and continues to devastate the US economy," said Wendy Rogers. "I will do everything in my power to repeal and replace this egregious political disaster with policies that provide Americans with choice, access and high quality care based on patient-centered free-market solutions. No government should intrude in the relationship between a patient and their doctor."
"The Repeal Pledge was designed as a litmus test to help the American public understand which candidates and office holders are serious about repeal, versus those who claim to be but won't actually take action," continued Higgins. "With this commitment, Wendy Rogers passes that test."
