Washington, D.C. — Following their primary victories in Florida last night, Independent Women's Voice President & CEO Heather R. Higgins released the following statement:

"I want to congratulate Sen. Marco Rubio (R-SEN), Dr. Neal Dunn (R-2), Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-6), Rep. David Jolly (R-13), and Brian Mast (R-18) on their respective primary victories last night.  Floridians can trust that these five are fully committed to ending the harm that ObamaCare is causing across the country — and they can know this because all five have signed the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge.

"With Aetna and UnitedHealthcare abandoning ObamaCare exchanges across the country, and with insurance premium rates spiking everywhere, including as much as 13% in Florida, the need to repeal and replace ObamaCare with market-based solutions that make health care available and affordable for all Americans is apparent.

"We wish Sen. Rubio, Dr. Dunn, Rep. DeSantis, Rep. Jolly, and Brian Mast good fortune as they take their campaigns to the November election."

The Repeal Pledge is a project of Independent Women's Voice, a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization.
