Liberals have been selling their proposals as common sense solutions that will benefit everyone and bring the United States out of the dark ages. Yet they ignore how their proposed new federal entitlement program and new mandate that employers must all provide months of paid leave could backfire on workers—particularly low-income women who need the most help.
