"Completely repeal Obamacare. Our elected representatives must eliminate the individual mandate. No person should be required to buy insurance unless he or she wants to."
That's the promise in Donald Trump's new healthcare reform platform.
This is great to hear from the GOP nominee. If you read the complete platform on his website, you'll realize that he understands the harm that ObamaCare is doing to Americans — dramatically increasing their premiums and healthcare costs, coming between them and their doctors, and creating chaos in the health insurance industry.
ObamaCare has failed. And we need market-based solutions that, as Trump puts it, "will broaden healthcare access, make healthcare more affordable and improve the quality of the care available to all Americans."
Mr. Trump could take one more step to ensure the American people that he gets it, and that he's truly committed to repealing the ObamaCare disaster: signing the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge.
Will you help encourage Mr. Trump to take the Pledge?
You can email his campaign by going here, and you can tweet him at @realDonaldTrump. Ask him to go to www.TheRepealPledge.com and sign the Pledge today, so that in 2017 we can fully and completely repeal ObamaCare, once and for all.
