Kinderhook, NY — Today, Independent Women’s Voice announced that John Faso (R-NY) has signed the ObamaCare Repeal Pledge. Faso is a candidate for U.S. House from New York’s 19th Congressional district.

“John Faso’s signature on the Pledge is a clear demonstration of his commitment to the full and complete repeal of ObamaCare and to end the harm that it is inflicting upon American families,” said Heather R. Higgins, President and CEO of Independent Women's Voice.

“John understands that ObamaCare is hiking insurance premiums, diminishing quality of care, and reducing our choice and control in health care decisions,” added Higgins. “He understands that ObamaCare means bigger government and less freedom. For these reasons, and many more, it must be repealed.”

“Our residents know that individuals understand their health care needs better than government bureaucrats. ObamaCare has hiked premiums, reduced quality and choice, added extra costs to local small businesses and forced them to cut jobs," said John Faso.  "We can do better, and part of my solution will be to work across the aisle in Congress to replace the failed ObamaCare agenda with one that puts patients, families and small business first.”

"The Repeal Pledge was designed as a litmus test to help the American public understand which candidates and office holders are serious about repeal, versus those who claim to be but won't actually take action," continued Higgins. "With this commitment, john Faso passes that test."

The Repeal Pledge is a project of Independent Women's Voice, a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan, nonprofit organization.
