In 2011, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi called an extra $40 in workers’ paychecks a difference maker and a victory for the American people.
Today's agreement is a victory for the American people-they spoke out clearly & #40dollars each paycheck will make a difference.

Fast-forward to 2018 and the Minority Leader thinks that $1,000 is “crumbs.” When Pelosi learned that more than 200,000 AT&T employees would receive $1,000 bonuses as a result of The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, she dismissed the news and argued that the extra money wouldn’t go very far.
So, what changed? In 2011, Democrats controlled the White House and majorities in both houses of Congress. Today, the GOP controls the House of Representatives, Senate, and the White House.
Tax relief has already made a big difference for women across the country. Since the passage of tax reform, millions of Americans have received bonuses, raises, and increased pay.
Nancy Pelosi claims to champion women yet when they receive much-needed cash that can be put towards things like home repairs, groceries, credit card debt, or college tuition, she pooh-poohs this widespread relief. Shouldn’t we all champion women’s success regardless of which political party is in office?
