NICU Nurses Turn Lottery Jackpot into Lifelines for Colleagues

Americans are the most generous people on the planet and a group of NICU nurses shows us just why.

Instead of enjoying their Mega Million jackpot, 126 Missouri nurses donated their lottery prize to colleagues facing rough circumstances: paying for the funeral of one nurse's son who committed suicide and helping another nurse whose husband was just diagnosed with cancer.

According to data on charitable giving, Americans donate more than any other country and it's because giving is an intrinsic value of the American fabric.
