In the year leading up to the 2020 election, there was a familiar refrain among President Trump supporters and the president himself. It goes something like this: The Democrats really weren’t after him, they were after his supporters and he was just standing in the way.

Now, less than a week after the election we are finding that has been proven shockingly accurate. Despite the fact that not one state has certified their election, the gold-standard political site Real Clear Politics has neither candidate projected at 270 electoral votes, and the Trump campaign is legally challenging alleged ballot irregularities and fraud in multiple swing states, Mr. Biden’s supporters are basking in the presumption their candidate has won. After years of hostility, name-calling, harassment, and even violence, at least the Democrats are predictable and are ramping up encouragement for people to trust the worst in themselves.

Congressional Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, channeling her inner Stalin, tweeted this, “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.”

Not long after, a man called Michael Simon, who identifies on Twitter in part as “@BarackObama analytics and @POTUS44 Admin” responded by saying they (which appears to be a collection of former Obama and Buttigieg supporters and staffers) had created the “Trump Accountability Project,” which is a list of people to be punished for supporting Mr. Trump. Many of their tweets promoting their Stalinistic purge dream have been deleted, but their website makes clear the goal is to destroy people who supported Mr. Trump. They list their targets as “Those who elected him … Those who staffed his government … Those who funded him.”

The list was actually available online for a short time when an attorney on Twitter found it, and then promptly removed it from public access. But in that short window we learned their targets included Supreme Court justices, other judges at various levels, Trump Cabinet members, executive staff, family, administrative staff, politicians, and donors. In the fascist minds of the creators, these people should be hounded out of civilized life for having an opinion with which the Obama and Petey bros disagree. But Mr. Trump is the fascist who destroyed our national “norms and values.” Got it.

Threatening people with a list seems to have inspired those consumed with Trump Derangement Syndrome. Jennifer Rubin, The Washington Post’s “conservative” columnist, revealed what her personal hatred for Mr. Trump has done to her as she gleefully dove into the gutter: “Any R now promoting rejection of an election or calling to not to follow the will of voters or making baseless allegations of fraud should never serve in office, join a corporate board, find a faculty position or be accepted into ‘polite’ society. We have a list.”

Are all of these people angling to become a Guillotine Czar?

Mr. Biden spoke of unity in the “victory” speech he gave after the media projected him the winner of the election, but first declared he was going to “restore the soul of this nation.” Why would you need to restore the soul of the nation unless your opponent and his supporters had destroyed it? He then said, “Let’s give each other a chance. We have to stop treating our opponents as enemies.” In other words, “Hi, let’s be friends, you-national soul-destroyers-you.”

Michelle Obama was more blunt. She tweeted, “Let’s remember that tens of millions of people voted for the status quo, even when it meant supporting lies, hate, chaos and division. We’ve got a lot of work to do to reach out to these folks in the years ahead and connect with them on what unites us.”

In the same breath she condemns more than 71 million Trump supporter she then offers to “reach out” to the cretins. It’s not surprising many on that particular list would decline.

Ari Fleischer responded to the Democrats’ sudden nostalgia for friendship. He tweeted, “Resist. Overturn. Boycott. Surveil. Leak. Impeach. And now they tell us it’s time to heal. Where were they for the last four years?”

We are to heal from what, exactly? The creation of the most successful economy the history of this nation? The destruction of ISIS? The shrinking of the racial wage gap? The lowest unemployment rate for every social group in the nation?

Is it the wound of finally having multiple Middle East peace deals for the first time in over a quarter of a century? Is it Mr. Trump’s successful rescue of over 50 American hostages during his first term that is so offensive? Was it the First Step Act and the commitment to justice reform that any other president could have done, but didn’t? And surely the news that Mr. Trump’s “Operation Warp Speed” led to Pfizer’s development of a COVID-19 vaccine will be added to the list of which Mr. Trump and his supporters should be punished.

Never would Democrats or the Biden team suggest it was the constant obstruction, impeachment, the political weaponizing of federal law enforcement against the president and his supporters, the BLM-Antifa riots which destroyed lives, businesses and futures in this nation and from which we need to heal. Never would they admit the Defund the Police agenda which wounded so many of our first responders, emotionally and physically, is something for which they should apologize and finally repudiate.

As Biden supporters imagine they have a mandate to continue their obscene cancel-culture and Stalinistic purges, they should take notice of what else happened during this election — Democrats were rejected at every level of government. The down-ballot mini-Red Wave was a statement rejecting socialism and the extremism controlling the Democratic party. If the Democrats continue to indulge their soul-rotting hatred of half the country, the 2022 midterms will remind them again, in a much more significant way.
