Washington, D.C. – Independent Women’s Voice (IWV) announces an update in the role of our longtime friend, supporter, and advocate Tammy Bruce. Ms. Bruce has been a part of Independent Women’s Voice for a number of years, and became president of IWV three years ago. For almost 30 years now, Ms. Bruce has been a change-agent in a number of social and political arenas and we are not surprised that demands on her time on every front have increased. Her expanding profile on radio and television is evident. While we’re disappointed Tammy will be stepping down from the presidency, she remains a trusted advisor and will be engaging in specific synergistic projects with the team as often as possible.

“We wish Tammy every success, thank her for her invaluable work at IWV, and appreciate her commitment to continuing as an influence at IWV for years to come,” said IWV Chairman and CEO, Heather Higgins.

“I have been, and continue to be, impressed with the extraordinary work the team at IWV do for our great nation. It is an honor to be a part of the one organization focusing on the impact of women on politics, society, education, and personal freedom, while working to improve all women’s lives in the process. I look forward to continuing to do all I can to assist IWV in its work especially as we face continuing assaults on free speech, personal freedom, education, and everyone’s ability to pursue the American dream,” said Tammy Bruce.
