WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Independent Women’s Voice, a leading national women’s organization dedicated to advancing policies that enhance opportunity and well-being, released the following joint statement following the Senate’s passage of the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”
Gabriella Hoffman, director of Independent Women’s Center for Energy and Conservation; Meaghan Mobbs, director of Independent Women’s Center for American Safety and Security; Julie Gunlock, director of Independent Women’s Network; and Patrice Onwuka, director of Independent Women’s Center for Economic Opportunity, said:
“As an organization representing the interests of women nationwide, we applaud the Senate for passing President Trump’s signature law. The “One Big, Beautiful Bill” is one step away from delivering tax cuts for hardworking Americans, generational investments in American strength and security, and meaningful reforms to our social safety net, while scaling back costly green energy subsidies. We stand with House Republican leadership in urging every member to adopt the Senate’s bill quickly.”
