To call your senators, use the form on this page.

The U.S. House of Representatives just passed the so-called Equality Act, and now it heads to the U.S. Senate.

Urge your U.S. Senators to vote AGAINST the Equality Act.

The unfair Equality Act isn’t about preventing discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community—it’s about eliminating women as a legally distinct category.

This misnamed bill redefines “sex” under our federal civil rights laws to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity,” jeopardizing women’s opportunities, safety, and advancement.

By erasing sex as a distinct legal category, the so-called Equality Act prioritizes transgender people over women. The bill threatens to open up female-only spaces—and opportunities designed to increase representation for girls—to biological men, such as women’s prisons, public-school girls’ locker rooms, and women’s and girls’ sports teams.

Call your Senators: tell them to vote NO on the Equality Act.

What to Say (Call Script)

Hi, my name is __________, and I live in ___________.

I’m calling to demand Senator __________ to vote AGAINST the so-called Equality Act.

This misnamed bill redefines “sex” under our federal civil rights laws to include “sexual orientation” and “gender identity,” jeopardizing women’s opportunities, safety, and advancement.

I urge the senator to stand up to:
– Protect women’s sports.
– Protect women’s right to have female only spaces in domestic violence shelters, prisons, and locker rooms.
– Protect programs designed to help women succeed in math and science.

Denying that women are different than men—and have unique risks for violence and abuse—is ignoring basic science and it endangers women.

I expect my senator to vote against the UNFAIR Equality Act.

Thank you for your time.
