My granddaughters attend a private elementary school that has conducted virtual classes at various times during the “pandemic.” … The school no longer permits parents or grandparents to visit during lunch or recess as in the pre-pandemic days. This, along with the elimination of all extra curriculars, plays, musicals, etc., has alienated my granddaughters even further from their families.

The implementation of virtual learning has given schools a less than satisfactory replacement for a caring, observant teacher. Requiring a child to sit in front of a computer for hours is horrid.
